CapyBar is designed to show system performance information without collecting personal data.
Data collection
CapyBar does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
The app reads system metrics such as CPU usage, memory usage, thermal pressure, disk space, network activity, and battery status. This information is processed locally on your Mac and never leaves your device.
Tracking and analytics
CapyBar does not use analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Accounts
CapyBar does not require an account or sign-in.
Local settings
Your preferences, including colors, thresholds, visible metrics, and refresh frequency, are stored locally on your Mac using system-provided storage.
Payments and updates
Purchases and updates for the Mac App Store version are handled by Apple. CapyBar does not receive or store your payment information.
Children’s privacy
CapyBar does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If CapyBar’s privacy practices change, this policy will be updated before the new practices take effect.
